Joe is a proud Georgia native and calls Gainesville, GA home. He attended Oglethorpe University where he excelled on the basketball court as well in the classroom. He was a 1000 point scorer and 2 time all conference (SCAC) player. Sports and coaching have always been a big part of his life and he enjoys being able to use the leadership and coaching skills he developed during his athletic career as a financial professional.
Today, he does not play much basketball. Because of that, his knees are grateful. In his free time, he golfs, reads, and enjoys time spent with his wife, Angie. One of their favorite things to do is enjoy new foods and restaurants (read - eat).
